Musical Moments
Timmendorfer Strand relived the classic moments from the most famous musicals of all time. Starring Philipp Hägeli (Tarzan, Tanz Der Vampire, Cats…), Alex Avenell (Ich War Noch Niemals In New York, Mamma Mia…), and featuring Raphaela Groß-Fengels (Dirty Dancing…). Act 1, set in a small café, introduces the main characters, "Michel", the French waiter, "Giselle", the clumsy kitchen hand, and "Tallulah", the rich, aloof and very refined guest. Act 2 was a concert style gala performance of Germany‘s hit musicals, old and new. As well as breath taking ensemble show numbers, the singers shared anecdotes and stories with the audience about the individual shows, as well as their own personal experiences, creating a casual and relaxed atmosphere, and giving the public an inside glance into life in the Musical Theater business.

Maritim Hotel 40th Anniversary
Maritim Hotel celebrated its 40th birthday on 28. March 2009, and in order to really get the party started with a bang, CDF performed two showblocks at the Maritim Seehotel in Timmendorfer Strand, featuring hit music from the last 40 years. The 70s and 80s block included Boogie Wonderland, Holiday, Tina Turner & Freddy Mercury doubles, and the timeless 80s classic, Time Of My Life from Dirty Dancing featuring Johnny and Baby. The 500 guests were further entertained in the 90s and 2000s block with songs from Amy Winehouse, Mika, and Robbie Williams, plus a hilarious rendition of "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls!
